The joy of playing guitar is incredible, especially when you find yourself in a position that allows you to play pretty much anything you can think of or play any type of music that is put in front of you.

If you go online, you can find these videos tutorials and acoustic guitar lessons by searching certain terms in Google. Just by putting 'guitar lesson' in Google gets you millions of results that will help you learn.

The Guitar is Probably the Cheapest Instrument to Learn

You won't find half as much information about other instruments on the internet, nor will you have such an archive of detailed lessons.
 
Another great thing about learning guitar online is the fact all the tab music, or most of it, is totally free. Unlike sheet music with the piano, people are actually happy to write out songs into tablature (guitar sheet music). There is very little that hasn't been tabbed on the internet allowing you to learn any song you can think of.
 
You might be worried you will not get the same quality of detail and theory behind online acoustic guitar lessons; however you might actually be surprised. There is plenty of information out there about the more complex elements of the guitar spectrum.

Including scales, arpeggio's, timings and different diverse techniques.
